Escha’s simple kit prioritizes high stun power to fulfill her primary role effectively, making memorias of this kind more desirable. The Snapshot of Youth memoria offers one the highest stun damage potencies to her, but it’s expensive and hard to rank up. By contrast, A Continuation of That Summer is a free and decent alternative but it only works against enemies weak to Air. The next most valuable choice would be Watching Fireworks which is not free but it’s relatively easier to obtain, has the highest stun damage potential of all choices, but its effect only lasts for 2 turns which is normally enough to close a fight. In last place there is the also free Gentle with the Bride memoria, which gives her a nice boost without any special condition.
Despite being an SR rarity memoria, The Power to Change the World is one of Escha’s strongest offensive choices, adding an extra on-hit effect to all her that will boost the damage of all follow-up attacks from allies for the next 2 hits. The low Speed of this memoria is very problematic, unfortunately, and Escha is not a fast character so using this memoria tends to be very situational. A faster offensive alternative that is faster is Looking up At the Dusk Skies, which provides a weaker effect but can impact her own stun damage in subsequent attacks, and works well with both Air Slash teams.
Holy Favor Staff
While equipped to a character with Air affinity, boosts single-target attack stun damage by 13 ~ 18%.
Strongest stun choice affecting all her Skills. The advantage of this weapon is that unlike Gyaru Staff, it works on any enemy regardless of weakness or resistance. It is very powerful but very expensive to make.
Gyaru Staff
While equipped to a Breaker with Air affinity, boosts stun damage by 12 ~ 17% when attacking a weakness.
An all purpose weapon greatly enhancing the stun damage of all her skills as long the enemies are weak to Air. Escha does not have ways to create a weakness on neutral enemies in the same turn she casts this, so it’s a much more restrictive weapon.
Beloved Sword
While equipped to a Breaker, boosts stun damage by 8 ~ 11% when attacking a weakness.
This weapon also only works against enemies with to Air and it’s a downgrade to Gyaru Staff, but the alternative is there for those who cannot unlock the latter.
Steel Bow
While equipped to a Breaker, boosts stun damage by 6 ~ 8%.
This weapon provides a slight boost to stun damage and has no special conditions required. It’s cheap to make and unlocked very early in the game, making it ideal for beginners without access to any of the above.
Gyaru Uniform
While equipped to a Breaker with Air affinity, boosts potency of inflicted negative effects by 11 ~ 15%.
Offensive oriented armor that will boost the potency of all her negative effects, including effects from memorias like the mentioned above, or other items like the Gyaru Bangle. It’s her most desired piece of armor for almost everything, but also event locked. An early game alternative to this is Hero Armor, which is weaker but accessible at all times from a Revival event.
Tolerance Robe
While equipped to a character with Air affinity, boosts stun damage by 9 ~ 12%.
This armor is a moderate boost to her stun damage and nothing else. Usually never needed for her to perform her job, but there could be instances where it can be good.
Gold Embroidered Coat
Boosts stun damage by 8 ~ 11% on single-target attacks.
This armor provides a moderate boost to all single target stun attacks. It’s one of the earliest stun related item you can unlock and the cheapest too, so it’s a good early game alternative for beginners.
Gyaru Bangle
While equipped to a character with Air affinity, when attack target is stunned, boosts target’s damage received by 6 ~ 8% for 2 attacks.
Adds an extra on-stun debuff effect to all her attacks, increasing the damage those targets take for to 2 attacks. This effect is very strong and synergizes very well with the rest of her kit which and, on top of its high +12 Speed which she urgently needs, make it the most attractive accessory choice.
To apply this effect, said target needs to be stunned first and will do nothing otherwise.
Orphic Ring: Air
While equipped to a Breaker with Air affinity, boosts stun damage by 9 ~ 12%.
Another pure stun oriented accessory accessible from early in the game and very cheap to synthesize, making ideal for beginners without access to the other recipes.
Main Traits
- Magic Stun Damage Boost traits are her main source of stun damage, her secondary role. There are very few instances where this is most important than Enhanced P./M. Resistance Down, but they exist
- The new Stun Damage Up on Weakness has higher value, but only works against enemies weak to Air so it’s a lot more situational but very strong.
Situational Traits
- Her niche traits are not too flexible. A second Magic Stun Damage Boost or Stun Damage Boost are pretty much ideal to make her breaking power as strong as possible and trigger the effects on her gear.
- Like most breakers, Escha is frail and can easily die to strong AoE attacks from enemies. The All-Target Attack Resistance Up can help with this in the secondary slot, reducing the damage she takes significantly against this type of attacks. Sometimes just one of these traits is enough.
- The Stun Damage Boost [Full] trait is as strong as the Magic Stun Damage Boost one, but it will be completely inactive while her HP is not full. This is far from ideal and should be considered as a last resort only.
- Escha’s kit is simple but effective. She has higher than average stun potencies on her skills and with good enough gear she can deal with a lot of tough enemies. The more stun traits you build, the more offensive effects you can use.
- Her skills apply both Air and Slash resistance debuffs, making her viable for both types of teams.
- She is not slow but also not too fast so getting her to act before certain enemies may need adjustments to her equipped memoria. Sometimes using an 11% speed memoria without effect can be the right call.
