As a debuff oriented supporter, Klaudia has the choice to pick among traditional buffing support memorias and on-hit debuffing memorias with similar results. However, unlike characters like Firis: Crystaler of Rose, Klaudia only has single target attacks, reducing the value of on-hit effects significantly in fights against multiple enemies. In these scenarios, memorias like A Future Worth Fighting For are serious contenders to be used with Enhanced Damage Buff [A] traits, but the great winner here is Welcome to the Party!, a fast and powerful buffing memoria that it’s exclusive to Ice characters and combines the Speed of It’s Time to Study! with the power of Our Masterpiece all in one.
As a debuffer, Klaudia can also use the R rarity memoria The Taste of Civilization, adding an extra stackable damage boost debuff to her skills. This effect is stronger than it seems and works even better when geared with items that boost her negative effects.
Angel Staff
While equipped to a Supporter, after using a skill, boosts all allies’ critical damage by 4 ~ 5% for 1 turn.
One of the most versatile weapons in the game, this is the best pick for general content. Provides a strong buff that can be increase by Enhanced Damage Buff [A] every time she acts, and that’s it. This effect can be stacked multiple times if playing alongside slow allies.
Crepusculum
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts potency of inflicted negative effects by 7 ~ 10%.
The one debuffing oriented weapon she has. Usually outclassed by buffing effects, in instances where positive effects are reduced, this weapon will slightly enhance anything she manages to apply on enemies, from her own skills, to memoria and gear effects. It’s also very cheap to make and unlocked very early in the game.
Heart of Wisdom
While equipped to a Supporter with Ice affinity, boosts all allies’ skill damage by 3 ~ 4%.
An alternative to Angel Staff, this weapon provides a small passive boost to skill damage instead. It’s active at all times and does not need you to act, but it cannot be stacked and the effect itself is slightly weaker by comparison.
This effect is also boosted by Enhanced Damage Buff [A].
Shadowguard Staff
While equipped to a Supporter with Ice affinity, after using a skill, restores all allies’ HP by 1% at the start of the turn for 1 ~ 2 turns.
This weapon is as niche as it gets. It will only be good when supporting Resna: Awakened Future, but it will be REALLY good. The best choice in this situation alone.
Frisch Coat
While equipped to a Supporter with Ice affinity, boosts all allies’ critical damage by 5 ~ 7%.
Best in slot armor almost always, providing a big passive critical damage buff that it’s active at all times and can be increased by Enhanced Damage Buff [A].
Purity Robe
While equipped to a Supporter with Ice affinity, after attacking, boosts target’s damage received by 5 ~ 7% for 2 attacks.
The strongest debuff oriented piece of armor she can use. It is quite strong, especially when paired with Crepusculum.
Phantom Armor Lawine
While equipped to a character with Ice affinity, after attacking with a single-target attack, reduces target’s Ice resistance by 7 ~ 10% for 2 attacks.
Another strong debuff oriented armor, ideally used to start a Breaker+Attacker chain of attacks. Purity Robe provides great damage but it does not increase stun damage. This one does.
Frost Armor
While equipped to a character with Ice affinity, after attacking, boosts enemy’s damage received by 4 ~ 5% for 2 attacks.
Direct downgrade to Purity Robe but much cheaper to make and very easily unlocked early in the game. This is a great starting option for her.
Carefree Swimsuit
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts potency of buff effects given by 7 ~ 10%.
This bonus will affect mostly her memoria buff and other buffing effects like Angel Staff. It is weaker than Frisch Coat, but it’s an alternative.
Glaço Talon
While equipped to a Supporter with Ice affinity, boosts all allies’ critical damage by 6 ~ 9%.
By far the strongest item in her arsenal, and with very high Speed too. Massive critical damage boost to all allies, active at all times. The only bad thing is that this recipe is locked behind Floor 30 of Ice Tower, making it quite challenging to unlock.
Carefree Goggles
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts all allies’ magic attack skill damage by 2 ~ 3%.
A pretty decent alternative to the shoes, providing a small passive boost to the damage of all allies’ magic skills. It has 0 Speed though.
Main Traits
- Enhanced Damage Buff [A] is her most important trait and quite frankly the only one she needs. Helps boost all buff effects from her gear and memoria, regardless of what team she is assisting.
Situational Traits
- Her second trait slot is normally very niche and inconsequential, but in case of needing it:
- Enhanced Resistance Down [Ice] currently cannot be paired with Enhanced Damage Buff [A] so equipping this is usually not a great idea. Situations exist where this trait will be stronger, like if your equipped memorias are low rank or if you are gonna use mostly Klaudia’s Burst Skill. If assisting characters that are not Attackers, this is obviously better too. Otherwise, with high rank memorias, if using Skill 2 or if assisting attackers, Enhanced Damage Buff [A] is almost always stronger. Pick accordingly.
- Thanks to the before attacking debuff in her Burst Skill, and her above average damage potencies, her damage is surprisingly high for a support. The Skill Power Up trait is her only other viable secondary option, and can be used even as a support, adding extra damage to her attacks, there is nothing else she can really use here, unless you are using her as a pure damage dealer in which case you can combine this with Critical Damage Up.
- Magic Stun Damage Boost. Same logic as with damage dealing traits, thanks to her before attacking ice resistance debuff in her Burst Skill, she can function quite well as a pseudo-breaker, with respectable potencies and not hindering her main roles in the slightest.
- The All-Target Attack Resistance Up trait will add extra AoE mitigation to protect her. this is not bad when using her in affinity towers that are not Ice.
- Klaudia’s kit, despite being one of the oldest and simplest, stays strong within Ice specific teams with high potency Ice resistance debuffs and generic damage vulnerability debuffs assisting not only Ice damage dealers but also breakers.
- She also buffs the skill damage of Ice affinity characters by a large amount with her Skill 2, a buff that is affected by the Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait and matches well with memorias and gear pieces of the same nature.
- The debuff from her Skill 2 applies after the attack and lasta for an unprecedented 3 attacks after that. This long lasting effect allows her to not only potentially stack the effect multiple times, but also enables to create a chain of decisive attacks from her team members without depriving her main damage dealer from this effect. Combining this with characters like Lila: Jet Black Bodyguard and Roman: Secret Fellow will let you stack the Ice resistance debuffs from even all 3 characters without clashing with each other, setting up for up to -100% Ice resistance combined on an enemy, ready to be exploited by your main damage dealer. Not only that, Lila herself will benefit from the initial reduction, making her own stun damage considerably stronger as well.
- Her Burst Skill, on the other hand, applies the effect before the attack itself, empowering the damage of the attack thanks to the reduced resistance, but consuming one of the three stack in the process. The Skill additionally makes the target receive substantially more damage from follow up attacks, and has double the debuff potency to compensate. Its damage and stun damage are also very high among supporters, which makes Klaudia quite a notable one at ditching some chip damage on enemies, or even be built as a semi-dps.
- She has 3 fantastic Leader Skill tags, all of them giving her great boons and capabilities alongside characters like Ryza: Blooming Energy, Flocke, Angel of Rose, and Cordelia: Noblewoman.

Is Enhanced Resistance Down [Ice] always inferior to Enhanced Damage Buff [A]?
No. Many things enter in play.
In stages that favor negative effects and penalize positive ones, Resistance Down wins. Viceversa.
If your buffing memorias are highly ranked up, Enhanced Damage Buff [A] wins. If they are low rank, Resistance Down wins.
If the enemy is already weak to Ice, or in presence of other Ice resistance reduction characters like Lila, Ryza and Roman, Enhanced Damage Buff [A] wins.
If the party is highly disruptive and you cannot stack debuffs, Enhanced Damage Buff [A] wins.
If you are gonna use her Burst in the fight, Ice Resistance Down always wins. If you are only going to spam Skill 2, Enhanced Damage Buff [A] always wins.
If not supporting an Attacker character, Enhanced Damage Buff [A] is useless, so can pick Resistance Down instead in those cases.
There are more scenarios, but the biggest ones are your memoria ranking and what skill you are going to predominantly use.
Ah, you’d already explained it! Sorry for not reading that section carefully. And thanks for the extra explanation. Since the only listed SSR memoria I have at rank V is To the Academy of Dreams! (next highest is Welcome to the Party! at rank II), I guess I’ll work on crafting Resist Down first. (It’s fun getting off-banner characters and figuring out what to do with them — this site really helps with the latter!)
I agree and I’m glad it helps you enjoy more that aspect of the game.
