Suelle is a pure, single-target only damage dealer. The desired balance between skill damage and critical damage, as always, will depend primarily on our chosen memoria.
Due to her not having any critical damage self buff, and Stab affinity not having any critical damage memoria, The Promise of a Return is easily the best memoria Suelle can equip, assuming of course, it’s sufficiently ranked up. It has low Speed and just average P.Atk stat, but this memoria will provide Suelle all the critical damage she needs to achieve a great balance.

Other more traditional and easier to acquire memorias are Striking it Rich!, Shippy, Set Sail!, and Lazy Afternoon, the latter only working against enemies weak to Stab, something she cannot normally accomplish by herself and will need team support to achieve. Additionally, providing the same type of effect but exchanging potency for Speed is Intersecting Moments, a very underused memoria that seriously boost Suelle’s Speed to act before certain enemies.
Using any of these memoria will absolutely need her to build 2x Critical Damage Up traits in her gear to balance out her damage.

In the last spot is Silver Snow Delight, a powerful single-target only memoria with a higher boost than the previous four, but with a more punishing condition requiring the target to be stunned. Considering her normally low Speed and the sheer strength of Stab or physical based Breakers, this memoria can be pretty good.

Crystal Rod

While equipped to an Attacker, boosts potency of buff effects received by 11 ~ 15%.

Despite having a lower base P.Atk stat than other weapons, the sheer amount of extra buff values you can gain from all team members, battle items and her own buffs combined, will vastly outperform higher P.Atk alternatives.
Always the best choice, assuming right traits.

Durchdringen

While equipped to an Attacker with Stab affinity, boosts critical damage by 20 ~ 28%.

Powerful critical damage effect combined with a high P.Atk weapon. It’s almost equal in power to Hawkeye Bow, but this weapon is stronger when using skill damage based memorias. It’s non conditional too.

Hawkeye Bow

While equipped to an Attacker with Stab affinity, boosts skill damage by 2–20%, depending on own HP. (Higher boost for higher HP, range: 10–100% HP)

Almost equal in power compared to Durchdringen but this weapon takes the lead when using the Promise of a Return memoria. It has a matching condition with her main gimmick, which is kind of a given for her to even function so it’s safe to assume this condition will be fulfilled.

Madcat Spear

While equipped to an Attacker with Stab affinity, boosts skill damage by 9 ~ 12%.

Weaker effect but unlocked very early in the game and it’s very cheap too. Transitions well into the mid stages of the game so it’s ideal for beginners.

Silver Thread Armor

Boosts potency of buff effects received by 9 ~ 12%.

Hands down the best piece of armor to use, by virtue of adding a massive amount of bonuses when a full party’s buffs and battle items are stacked.

Unblemished Armor

While equipped to an Attacker with Stab affinity, after attacking, permanently boosts own skill damage by 5 ~ 7% when attack target’s HP is 50% or higher. (MAX 35%)

Significantly weaker option but an alternative nonetheless. The boost is given to Suelle after the attack, so the bonus damage will not affect her from the start or during her current hits. When paired with Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait, it can stack pretty quickly to start making a difference as soon as her second turn, and it works better if you start the fight with her Skill 1.

Gold Jacket

While equipped to an Attacker, boosts burst skill damage by 9 ~ 12%.

Moderate boost to the skill damage of her Burst Skill alone. It’s a strong bonus for early and mid game stages, but outclassed by Silver Thread Armor anyway.

Yarn Coat

While equipped to an Attacker, boosts critical damage by 12 ~ 17%.

Moderate boost to all critical damage. It’s a strong bonus for early and mid game stages, but outclassed by Silver Thread Armor anyway and better than Gold Jacket if you have characters who can boost Suelle’s critical rate.

Feather Ornament

While equipped to an Attacker with Stab affinity, boosts single-target attack skill damage by 13 ~ 18%.

Big boost to skill damage, although slightly lower in potency, affecting all her skills equally. This accessory is very fast, with a +12 bonus to Speed, which makes it ideal in situations where Origin Necklace – Stab falls short. It does not provide HP, however.
Both accessories are in almost equal positions given their pros and cons, but this one tends to have the upper hand in more fights.

Origin Necklace: Stab

While equipped to an Attacker with Stab affinity, boosts burst skill damage by 17 ~ 25%.

Massive boost to skill damage, active at all times. It is the best accessory when using exclusively her Burst Skill but has only +8 Speed instead. This Speed difference is necessary in some fights where she wants to be slower, so it’s is important for Suelle to consider these differences when picking her chosen accessory.

Eldritch Ring: Stab

While equipped to an Attacker with Stab affinity, boosts skill damage by 9 ~ 12%.

Early game option, with a moderately strong effect and low cost. It has a surprisingly high Speed stat so this accessory scales very very well into end game.

Fancy Ring

While equipped to an Attacker with 70% or higher HP, after attacking, boosts own skill damage by 11 ~ 16% for 1 turn.

Another strong mid game option that matches its condition to Suelle’s. It’s more potent than Eldtrich Ring: Stab, but it’s harder to craft and has much lower Speed.

Main Traits

  • The Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait is one of Suelle’s most desirable traits when equipped with the Promise of a Return memoria. It’s never ideal otherwise.
A max of 2x of this trait is needed. Only 1x works well too, but 3x of them is overkill and will deal less damage.
  • Burst Skill Power Up follows closely behind, heavily boosting the damage of her Burst Skill, her main source of damage. It’s stronger than regular Skill Power Up and similar traits, but it only affects her Burst which is normally fine.
3x of this trait is great.
  • Skill Power Up is a perfectly reasonable trait as replacement too, and in case of having 3x Burst Skill Power Up and 1x or 2x Enhanced Damage Buff [A] traits, this is the best trait to fill the missing slots.

Situational Traits

  • Single Attack Power Up is essentially the same as Skill Power Up on Suelle. It makes no difference since Suelle only has single target attacks so feel free to use this instead if you want.
  • Critical Damage Up, as mentioned earlier in this page, is used when Suelle is equipped with a skill damage based memoria. Any of them. Only 2x of these traits are needed for such cases. 3x of them will result in a damage loss.
This trait should never be mixed with Enhanced Damage Buff [A] traits. Only pick one or the other.
  • The 100% extra damage in Suelle’s Burst Skill when she is at full HP actually doubles the base potency of the skill, turning into a gigantic 1000% potency attack. By comparison, the strongest unboosted base power in any skill (Johanna) is 625%. This skill deals massive damage, so keeping Suelle healthy at all time is imperative for her to shine.
  • The P.Atk boost from her skill 1 is permanent. Setting up one or two of these casts ideally while killing weaker enemies is a great idea.
  • Everytime she casts her Skill 2, she will gain an Evasion stack. This is insanely strong to avoid any retaliating attack, AoE attack, or counters.
  • Her Evasion is categorized as a buff, so reductions to buff potencies will reduce her chance of Evading as well. It’s not guaranteed.
  • Watch out for her passive skill after using items. The ability to delay targets is insanely strong but it can completely ruin your timeline if you forget to consider this factor, or put you in a very unfavorable situation. This is a common mistake among players.
  • Her Leader Skill is very strong and it’s the one you will usually need to use when playing with her, boosting her damage and survivability tremendously.
  • She is immune to all status effects so, unlike her unfortunate Strike version, effects like Poison and Burn will not ruin her life trying to stay at full HP.
