Not so surprisingly, Stand Against the Apexi! tops this list slightly beating the powerful and much more common Promise of a Return thanks to its higher P.Atk stat and not much lower critical damage effect, a stat Izana will have aplenty with her passive skills and own debuffs applied, making this difference extremely minor or even negligible compared to the stat difference. It also has higher Speed, something that may or may not fit her kit and specific fight goals well. This leaves the option for the latter memoria to still come out on top in some scenarios, so consider both.

Following in the list, more traditional skill damage memorias are Why We Fight and Shippy, Set Sail!, both memorias without any special condition but ones that can be difficult to obtain and rank up. Skill damage based memorias works surprisingly well with Izana due to the massive amount of critical damage sources she can potentially possess, but this relies strongly on the correct teams assisting her.
Fortunately, not far behind is Lazy Afternoon, a much more accessible memoria that is equal in power but will only work against enemies weak to Strike, something that is honestly not hard to achieve with allies like Heidi: Thief of Rose and other strong Strike staples. This memoria is a fantastic starting point.

In the last spot is Silver Snow Delight, a powerful single-target only memoria with a higher boost than the previous three, but with a more punishing condition requiring the target to be stunned. This is normally not that hard considering the sheer breaking power of Strike Breakers, but something that should be left as a last resort.

Crystal Rod

While equipped to an Attacker, boosts potency of buff effects received by 11 ~ 15%.

Despite having a lower base P.Atk stat than other weapons, the sheer amount of extra buff values you can gain from all team members, battle items and especially her own passive combined, will vastly outperform higher P.Atk alternatives.
Always the best choice, assuming right traits.

Unyielding Axe

Boosts skill damage by 12 ~ 17% when attacking a target’s Strike weakness.

With the only condition of hitting enemies weak to Strike, this is the second strongest option in her kit, although not by a large margin.

Halberd

While equipped to an Attacker with Strike affinity, after attacking, boosts own skill damage by 5 ~ 7% for 2 turns.

This weapon, in contrast, does not have any conditions and works equally against all enemies, but it has a slower start and a lower ceiling. It can be the right weapon between this and Unyielding Axe if you play Izana often, in multiple content.

Bloody Claw

While equipped to a character with Strike affinity, after using a skill, boosts own P. ATK by 8 ~ 11% for 1 turn.

Another very strong weapon with a very powerful effect that can outshine the previous 2 in absence of the Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait. This is not recommended to do, but even with it, these daggers are not that much weaker.

Silver Thread Armor

Boosts potency of buff effects received by 9 ~ 12%.

Hands down the best piece of armor to use, by virtue of adding an immense amount of bonuses with her passive skill, and impacting also buffs given by allies and battle items of any kind.

Clear Leather Armor

While equipped to an Attacker with Strike affinity, boosts critical damage by 17 ~ 24%.

Massive boost to critical damage, active at all times. It’s also enhanced by any Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait she could have equipped. It’s a great item but outclassed by Silver Thread Armor when in presence of many buffs and battle items.

Erde Mantel

While equipped to an Attacker with Strike affinity, boosts single-target attack skill damage by 15 ~ 21%.

Massive boost to skill damage, active at all times. It’s also enhanced by any Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait she could have equipped. It’s a great item but also outclassed by Silver Thread Armor when in presence of many buffs and battle items.

Cute Shoulder Guards

While equipped to a character with Strike affinity, boosts potency of buffs received by 10 ~ 14%. It also boosts all “Promise & Teamwork” characters’ potency of buffs received by an additional 3 ~ 4%.

The new best accessory for Strike attackers, significantly boosting the potency of all buffs received even further. Her tags additionally boost this even further.
All things considered, the gains from this item vastly surpass the ones from other previous top choice accessories.

Origin Necklace: Strike

While equipped to an Attacker with Strike affinity, boosts burst skill damage by 17 ~ 25%.

Massive boost to skill damage, active at all times, also enhanced by any Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait she could have equipped. No longer ideal but still a good item alternative.

Silent Shoes

While equipped to an Attacker with Strike affinity, boosts burst skill damage by 13 ~ 18%.

A similar but weaker boost compared to Origin Necklace – Strike, but with higher Speed and no HP. This item is rarely used considering her already high Speed, but the option is there if you need it.

Main Traits

  • Burst Skill Power Up is Izana’s cream of the crop for boss killing, her primary role. Fitting 3x of these traits will reduce the damage of her other skills but drastically increase his Burst output which is her main source of damage after all.
  • Skill Power Up and Single Attack Power Up are fundamentally the same on her, both giving the same bonus power on her two main damaging skills. Despite this, I would always advice going for the former option since it’s far more versatile and easier to match with other traits, but if you get the latter, it works too.
  • Izana is a very unique character due to her passive skill conversion and debuffs providing her tremendous amounts of critical damage. With this in mind, I would suggest building nothing but a combination of these previously mentioned traits, ideally 3x Skill Power Up and 3x Burst Skill Power Up in the best scenario.

Situational Traits

  • Enhanced Damage Buff [A] is usable but, unlike almost any other attacker, not best to use. This trait does not impact critical rate buffs, therefore, it does not affect the conversion of her passive skill. This is a major offset, considering all her primary gear effects will also not get impacted by this trait. This trait despite being usable, it is not recommended EVEN if you have a Rank V critical damage memoria.
  • Critical Damage Up comes last, still being useful in many ways but resulting in a tremendous imbalance of damage buffs due to her already massive critical damage sources.
  • Strike Izana is very similar to her much more known Bolt version, preserving her explosive single target damage and Daze status effects, but trading her AoE sweeping potential for more selfbuffs for increased power.
  • The concept of her initial passive skill also remains intact, permanently boosting her critical damage after killing an enemy up to 100%, but this time also permanently boosting her burst skill damage at the same time for the same amount.
  • The above mentioned passive effect can only trigger once per action, meaning even if you kill more than 1 enemy in a turn with her Skill 1, the effect will only trigger once.
  • Her second passive effect is completely new, converting all sources of critical rate received that exceed the initial 100%, into critical damage. After maxing out her own base critical rate with her own Skill 2, characters that directly provide this buff like Rorona: Falling Snow will instantaneously boost her critical damage instead for the same amount. Keep in mind all forms of buff given and buff received can and will enhance the potency of critical rate buffs which will result in a higher amount converted but, because the Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait does not interact with critical rate buffs, this will not have any impact in the conversion, making this trait quite useless for this purpose alone.
  • Likewise, Battle Items with the Critical Finish trait will convert all the provided critical rate, essentially turning items like Ancestral Doctrine and Strength Meat in both skill damage and critical damage buffs all in one.
  • Guaranteed critical effects, like panels given by Wilbell: Witch in the Dark or Student Support Energy Drink will not affect this passive in any way.
  • Izana benefits tremendously from buff received effects to boost critical rate sources and the P.Atk buff from her Skill 2.
  • Unlike her Bolt version, Strike Izana is very fast so despite their kits being similar, their playstyles are often completely different.
  • Her critical damage received debuffs are functionally the same as critical damage buffs on self and stack with each other in the same ways.
  • Her Skill 1 is an AoE skill, with a pretty decent damage multiplier too similar to single target ones from other attackers. This can actually help her sweep weaker enemy waves, or apply multiple effects at the same time. Interestingly, with her Initiative effect in play, she can also work as a pseudo debuffer, assisting other powerful Lantarna tagged damage dealers by using this skill.
  • Izana introduces the Skill 2 Power Up as a character synthesis gift, previously only available via materials. She is the first and (for some months) only character to get it, making her absolutely invaluable for the creation of trait combinations like Skill 2 Power Up + Enhanced Damage Buff [A] that characters like Resna: Awakened Future and Resna: Loved Rookie strongly desire. This combination of traits is currently impossible without her which elevates her as a top luxurious synthesis character.
  • Tournament wise, she rivals Valeria: Warrior of Rose in Strike division, and can even surpass her. Despite this, she is held back by an outclassed team of physical supports so she cannot compete against off-affinity teams around Resna: Awakened Future.

Score shown is only applicable for General Content

Players who love playing Bolt Izana beware, both characters may look similar on paper but they don’t play anything alike. Strike Izana is not autoplay friendly.
If you wish to expand into physical teams or need something to tackle Strike Tower with, she is the perfect addition to your roster as one of the strongest physical attackers on date. Additionally, if you are a serious contender for top spots in Roman’s Tournament, you will absolutely need her for her unique synthesis gift either way.
If any of these things are not in your list of goals, or if you already have Valeria: Warrior of Rose, Izana does not excel over her in any significant way. She will not accomplish anything Valeria can’t already do, so she can be skipped.
