Despite being just an R rarity memoria, The Taste of Civilization is one of the strongest memorias Klaudia can equip, adding an additional and stackable offensive debuff to her skills. This can be applied by her Skill 2 despite not dealing any damage, and can be indefinitely stacked. The Speed and defenses gained from this memoria are low as consequence of its low rarity, and effect will not be affected by the Enhanced P./M. Resistance Down trait.
An alternative to this memoria is her own A Yukata-Clad Sprint through the Steam, which will also apply stackable debuffs on the the enemies hit. The debuff this time will reduce the targets’ Fire, Bolt, Ice and Air resistances, which is a stronger boost but only if this memoria is at rank 3 or above.
Buffer alternatives include the traditional It’s Time to Study!, which offers a moderate skill damage boost to all allies, high defenses and very high Speed. Pick this one up if you need Klaudia to be faster than anyone. An alternative memoria with the same stats and contributions is The True Feelings You Can’t See which will boost the skill damage of all allies’ Burst skills instead, in greater measure. This memoria is harder to rank up, unfortunately.
Finally, another buffing type memoria but with lower speeds can be A Future Worth Fighting For or Our Masterpiece, both of which offer good defenses and a 4.25% bonus to Speed. Their effects are close to each in potency, although the former tends to be slightly stronger assuming both are equally ranked up.
As a final tip, if you don’t have access to the Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait on Klaudia, it will almost always be preferred to equip her with a debuffing type memoria.
Flute of Warmth
While equipped to a Supporter with Bolt affinity, boosts potency of inflicted negative effects by 11 ~ 15%.
Event exclusive recipe, this flute is her best in slot, enhancing the effects of all her debuffs by a significant amount. This includes her own skills, debuffing memorias and gear effects and, of course, stacks with her own passive skill effects that do the same.
Crepusculum
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts potency of inflicted negative effects by 7 ~ 10%.
A direct downgrade to Flute of Warmth, with the same effect but with a reduced potency. This recipe is not even exclusive and can be unlocked very early in the game so it’s much more accessible for newer players.
Thunder Armor
While equipped to a character with Bolt affinity, after attacking, boosts enemy’s damage received by 4 ~ 5% for 2 attacks.
Pretty self explanatory. This armor adds an extra effect to all her existing ones. Yes, they apply too on all enemies attacked with her Skill 2, despite not dealing damage. It’s the highest damage boost among all armors in most situations.
It can be unlocked early and it is cheap to make.
Crimson Leather Armor
While equipped to a Supporter with Bolt affinity, after using a skill, boosts all allies’ skill damage by 2 ~ 3% for 1 turn.
This armor will apply a small skill damage boost to all allies every time she acts. This makes the effect stackable thanks to her high Speed, especially when assisting slower allies. While small, it can be boosted by Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait so it is not as weak as it looks.
Yukata of Warmth
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts all allies’ magic attack skill damage by 2 ~ 3%.
This armor adds a permanent passive boost to the magic skill damage of all allies. While small, it can be boosted by Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait and tends to be right choice against enemies immune or resistant to negative effects. It’s an event exclusive recipe, but it is outclassed by Thunder Armor regardless.
Diligence Robe
While equipped to a Supporter with Bolt affinity, after using a skill, restores all allies’ HP by 1 ~ 2%.
This armor is exclusive for Roman’s Tournament, when supporting Resna: Awakened Future. It adds an extra healing tick when acting, which in return has a high chance of drastically boosting Resna’s damage. It also works with other characters, but in a much lower measure so there is no other use for this piece as of now.
Phantom Armor Schwarz
While equipped to a Supporter with Bolt affinity, boosts potency of buff effects given by 13 ~ 18%.
Another alternative albeit much less desirable. It will boost all buffs given by her, including the M.Atk buff from her passive, memoria and gear effects. Unfortunately these effects fall short and often offer a lower benefit compared to other armor mentioned above. It’s also expensive and locked behind Bolt Tower progression.
Spirit Belt
While equipped to a Supporter with Bolt affinity, boosts all allies’ critical damage by 5 ~ 7%.
The best accessory she can equip. Offers a large passive boost to all allies critical damage, enhanced by the Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait. This effect is permanent and active at all times while she is in the fight, even if she is dead.
This recipe is not locked but it’s gated by the Chapter 14 of main story progression so it’s not quite as accessible for newer players.
Element Guard
While equipped to a Supporter with Bolt affinity, boosts potency of buff effects given by 11 ~ 15%.
Decent alternative but much less desirable compared to Spirit Belt. It is unlocked in chapter 6 of the main story, so quite a lot earlier but unfortunately it belongs to the Extra category of recipes making it very hard to synthesize as SSR rarity.
Main Traits
- Enhanced P./M. Resistance Down is Klaudia’s most important trait by a mile. The difference between having this trait at rank V and not having it is day and night. Her performance essentially depends on it. You should never not have 3x of these traits in her gear, no matter how the rest of the gear looks. Does not matter if you are missing a secondary trait, or if the piece is SR rarity, this trait is mandatory always.
Situational Traits
Her second trait slot is actually not that important for her performance. She can work very well at a fundamental level with just her main trait, but:
- The Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait will drastically increase the effect of her Spirit Belt and any buffing memoria she has equipped. Depending on the rank of this memoria, this can be a substantial increase or a very meaningless one. This trait is optional, but it’s great to have.
- Klaudia is fairly tanky but, against certain enemies or if you want to use her in affinity towers besides Bolt, the All-Target Attack Resistance Up trait will add extra AoE mitigation to protect her. Not a bad thing, but rarely needed.
- After using her Burst Skill once, its effect will last for the rest of the battle and cannot be removed. It also cannot stack so there is no reason to use it more than once. Despite this, this skill is only used in very specific settings and is almost never worth using over her regular Skill 2.
- The effect of her Burst Skill will double the base potency of Boost panel from 40% to 80%, and Boost+ panels from 100% to 200%. If using items to activate 2 of these panels in a single turn, this can be enable a tremendous damage boost but, again, this is quite hard to pull off and very niche.
- Her Skill 2 does not deal any damage and as such, it will not reduce the hit count of negative effects applied on the target, including her own. This unique feature is one of the strongest in the entire game, enabling her to stack negative effects on enemies to ridiculous amounts without disrupting the effects of other allies or battle items, in specific those with Curse type traits that only last for 1 attack.
- Many players often forget her Skills 1 and 2 both reduce the damage dealt by their targets. This is actually stronger than it sounds as a mitigation tool.
- Her Skill 2 will not trigger counterattacks!
