Plachta is a pure buffer, but she is not restricted to only offensive buffs. Her kit includes skill damage buffs, stun damage buffs and damage reductions buffs as well. The only way to boost the last 2 effects is through buff potency effects, which the Dress-Up Outing! memoria can do.
However, her offensive role is much more remarkable most of the times, and more often than not that’s all you are gonna need from her, making traditional memoria alternatives more appealing, buffing allies’ critical damage with A Future Worth Fighting, perhaps being her more interesting option due to its moderate Speed stat to help balance out Plachta’s naturally fast actions with the rest of her team. Similarly, Our Masterpiece also has the same stats, but boosts skill damage instead.
If you need her to be faster for whatever reason, as always It’s Time to Study! and The True Feelings You Can’t See are your alternatives for traditional skill damage and burst skill damage respectively.
On the contrary, if you need her to be even slower, To the Academy of Dreams! is a strong and accessible choice.
Due to how fast she is, item gauge generation memorias like Feathers Fly on a Festive Day are also viable alternatives that will not get in the way of supporting her allies in a timely manner
Angel Staff
While equipped to a Supporter, after using a skill, boosts all allies’ critical damage by 4 ~ 5% for 1 turn.
One of the most versatile weapons in the game, this weapon is perfect to her kit. While not necessarily stronger than similar bonuses from other weapons, critical damage is currently a more desirable buff to provide to allies via item effects to balance out the much more common sources of skill damage across teams. This bonus is affected by Enhanced Damage Buff [A].
Rugged Sword
While equipped to a Supporter with Slash affinity, after using a skill, boosts all allies’ physical attack skill damage by 5 ~ 6% for 1 turn.
Working very similar to the Angel Staff, this weapon swaps critical damage for skill damage instead, but only works with physical teams. It’s stackable.
Wyrmsoul
While equipped to a Supporter with Slash affinity, boosts all allies’ physical attack skill damage by 4 ~ 5%.
Weaker boost of the exact same effect Rugged Sword provides, but this time as a passive, always active buff. There are both good and bad scenarios for this, but if Plachta is going to stay dead in a fight, you’d prefer this effect that doesn’t require her to act. This item only works with physical teams.
Steel Staff
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts potency of buff effects given by 7 ~ 10%.
Aside from defensive setups, Plachta works much better with direct buffs added on her items over buff potency boosts, but if she is going to be dead during the fight this is also a good alternative to use, passively boosting her passive skill and memoria/gear buffs given.
Silver Jacket
While equipped to a Supporter with Slash affinity, after using a skill, boosts all allies’ critical damage by 5 ~ 7% for 1 turn.
This armor provides a stackable critical damage buff that’s actually bigger than the Angel Staff. It’s a no brainer choice and essentially always the better choice.
Carefree Swimsuit
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts potency of buff effects given by 7 ~ 10%.
Boosts to buff potencies are good on defensive teams, but it’s inferior on Plachta offensively.
Scale Armor
While equipped to a Supporter with Slash affinity, boosts potency of buff effects given by 6 ~ 8% and boosts skill damage by 5 ~ 6%.
Very good piece of armor, essentially same as a Skuller Coat but easier to craft. The skill damage buff only applies on herself.
Tutél Talon
While equipped to a Supporter with Slash affinity, boosts all allies’ critical damage by 6 ~ 9%.
Although not stackable, these shoes provide a superb passive boost to critical damage, bigger than any other item in her arsenal. This item also has +12 Speed and is pretty much always best in slot. It’s locked behind Floor 30 of Slash Tower, however.
Witch’s Mask
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts potency of buff effects given by 7 ~ 10%.
Decent alternative working for all teams. It’s not better than the other options but it’s a serviceable piece to use especially in more defensive teams.
Victory Charm
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts all allies’ physical attack skill damage by 2 ~ 3%.
Ideal budget piece to support physical teams. It’s a passive effect active all times so it’s not stackable.
Carefree Goggles
While equipped to a Supporter, boosts all allies’ magic attack skill damage by 2 ~ 3%.
Exactly the same as Victory Charm, but this time to assist magic teams.
Main Traits
- Enhance Damage Buff [A]. 3x of these at all times to enhance her passive skill and all the great critical damage buff from her excellent gear choices. This is her most important trait, and pretty much her only one.
Situational Traits
- Not to confuse with Enhanced P./M. Resistance Down that affects debuffs. Enhanced P./M. Resistance Up affects buffs, primarily those that will reduce the damage received from physical or magic attacks, like her Skill 1. This trait is ok to have but completely ignorable most of the times. Not worth over spending on it but it’s cool if you have it.
- The All-Target Attack Resistance Up trait is more than likely her only other relevant trait, adding and extra but often unnecessary bit of survivability to her against AoE attacks. This can be good if you plan to use her in disadvantageous situations, like Affinity Towers that are not Slash.
- Plachta’s kit has considerable RNG elements in it. Each of the 4 buffs applied on every ally will be randomized, from the potency (in the case of skill 2) to effect itself. Her Burst Skill has fixed based potencies.
- A single effect from her skills can be repeated multiple times, or not show up at all.
- Offensively, 4 skill damage buffs from her Burst Skill on your damage dealer is insanely strong, among the strongest in the game at 80% base. When enhanced by gear or traits, this value can easily reach over 200% skill damage with a single cast.
- Defensively, even just one or two of these buffs will seriously mitigate damage received. Four of them could potentially completely block an attack.
- Stun-wise, each buff equates to a rank V physical/magic stun trait.
- The 20% skill damage buff on her passive is always active. With Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait, this buff will become a powerful 50% instead, and will remain active the entire fight even if Plachta dies.
- With proper itemization and turn management, she can provide a large amount of critical damage buffs to her team mates as well.
- The Enhanced Damage Buff [A] trait will not affect her damage reduction or stun damage buffs.
