Valeria is a relatively simple character with not many conditions for her kit to work to its fullest. While she excels against enemies weak to Fire, she also can create this weakness herself when using her Skill 2, or use it to assist allies’ damage instead.
Pure stun oriented memorias that work great on her are A Whimsical Invitation , requiring weakness but providing the biggest permanent boost and The Future in His Eyes with a powerful bonus to all her stun attacks and no special conditions. As mentioned, this memoria is among the first introduced in the game and chances are, you already have this ranked up sufficiently or even maxed out if you are a veteran. If not, other similar alternatives exist, including Watching Fireworks, with the strongest possible boost among all memorias but only during the first 2 turns of a fight, and A Continuation of That Summer, a free memoria that will only work against enemies weak to Fire, something she can effortlessly create for herself even on neutral enemies.

As damage boosting memorias, A Yukata-Clad Sprint through the Steam will allow her to play not only with her Skill 2 but also debuff with her Burst, while also playing with magic allies from Air, Ice and Bolt affinities resistances. This is specially recommended to use when using exclusively her Burst Skill, since it will usually force stun her target regardless of her stun power.

The low rarity The Scion of Arland is also powerful when facing enemies weak or neutral to Fire, applying a significant boost to the damage her targets’ take upon hitting this weakness, or by creating it herself.

As for damage dealing alternatives, Core of Companionship is the most ideal choice, with Happy Birthday! and The Changing Scenery following closely.

Training Path

Boosts potency of negative effects inflicted by 6 ~ 8%.

Offensive focused item, enhancing the potency of all her negative effects including skills, memoria and gear effects. It’s extremely powerful when using her Burst Skill for a massive boost to the debuff base potency.

Lightflame Sword

While equipped to a Breaker with Fire affinity, after attacking, reduces target’s Fire resistance by 5 ~ 7% for 2 attacks.

The perfect addition to Valeria’s kit when supporting Fire teams when using Skill 2, complementing her already powerful Fire Resistance debuffs with even more of them. This effect is affected by Enhanced Resistance Down [Fire].

Eterno Flóga

While equipped to a Breaker with Fire affiniy, boosts stun damage by 12 ~ 17% when attacking a weakness.

A stun oriented only weapon. Its condition is easy to meet for her even against enemies that are neutral to Fire due to her Skill 2 applying a Fire Resistance debuff before the attack itself, making them weak to it. It is her strongest stun oriented weapon, but conditional.

Forbidden Tome of Flames

While equipped to a character with Fire affinity, boosts skill damage by 4~5% and burst skill damage by 6~8%.

Her only applicable damage dealing alternative, with high M.Atk stat and good effect. This is the only weapon with a damage boosting effect that she can use.

Kaftí Skoúpa

While equipped to a Breaker with Fire affinity, boosts stun damage by 10 ~ 14%.

The strongest unconditional, stun oriented weapon she can equip. Usually unnecessary due to how she can enable other to weapons to work better than this.

Beloved Sword

While equipped to a Breaker, boosts stun damage by 8 ~ 11% when attacking a weakness.

Yet another stun only weapon. Direct downgrade to Eterno Flóga, but more accessible.

Steel Bow

While equipped to a Breaker, boosts stun damage by 6 ~ 8%.

This weapon provides a slight boost to stun damage and has no special conditions required. It’s cheap to make and unlocked very early in the game, making it ideal for beginners without access to Beloved Sword or Kaftí Skoúpa.

Hero’s Armor

When using magic skills, boosts potency of inflicted negative effects by 6 ~ 9%.

Offensive oriented piece, accessible now at all times via Revival events, this armor provides a moderate boost to the potency of Valeria’s negative effects, including magic damage received and Fire resistance down, and anything else in her gear or memoria.

Lichtschutz Mail

While equipped to a character with Fire affinity, after attacking a weakness, permanently boosts own stun damage by 4 ~ 5%. (MAX 25%)

Ramping up armor with a powerful stun damage when maxed out, but a weak start. Designed for mid or long duration fights only.

Silver Thread Armor

Boosts potency of buff effects received by 9 ~ 12%.

Not to confuse with buff effects given, this armor is her primary and almost only choice when played as a damage dealer. Very strong.

Gold Embroidered Coat

Boosts stun damage by 8 ~ 11% on single-target attacks.

This one is old but still serviceable, providing a moderate but instant boost to all single target stun attacks. It’s one of the earliest stun related item you can unlock and the cheapest too, so it’s a good early game alternative for beginners well the into end game.

Link Symbol

While equipped to a character with Fire affinity, boosts potency of inflicted negative effects by 9 ~ 12%.

Her best offense oriented piece with a decent Speed stat, boosting the potency of all of Valeria’s negative effects, most importantly her Burst’s.

Cute Pauldrons

While equipped to an Attacker with Strike affinity, boosts potency of buffs received by 10 ~ 14%. It also boosts all “Promise & Teamwork” characters’ potency of buffs received by an additional 3 ~ 4%.

Exclusively for Tournament use, when assisting Resna: Awakened Future. It has no effect on herself but the secondary part of this piece will moderately increase all buffs received by Resna which is absolutely massive.

Success Ring

While equipped to a Breaker with Fire affinity, boosts single-target attack stun damage by 13 ~ 18%.

Massive stun oriented item, also with great Speed. For maximum stun performance on Skill 2, this item is the best.

Pride Ring

While equipped to a Breaker with Fire affinity, after attacking, boosts own stun damage by 11 ~ 15% for 1 turn.

This ring is a slight downgrade to Success Ring in terms of potency, but it also sadly has a weak start with Valeria’s first turn being unaffected. The upside of it is that it has an even higher Speed stat, and kind of matches Valeria’s untransformed first turn being weaker than the following ones.

Main Traits

  • Her kit is very centered primarily on breaking enemies. Boosting this role’s performance with Magic Stun Damage Boost and even with Stun Damage Up on Weakness traits is the most effective way to play her. While breaking enemies is not a necessity for her kit to work, her most important effects are in her Burst, which do not benefit from any particular offensive trait.
  • Enhanced Resistance Down [Fire] comes out on top when assisting exclusively fire affinity teams, and when using exclusively her Skill 2. It does not affect other skills. It shines the most when paired with items like Lightflame Sword effect and the A Yukata-Clad Sprint through the Steam memoria. This trait is not available yet, as of December 2024. Please check availability in game if you are planning to build this.

Situational Traits

  • Skill 2 Stun Damage Up is just as good as Stun Damage Up on Weakness but this one only affects her Skill 2. Since her Burst is a force break against fire weak enemies, this is just as good, but if you plan to use her against other enemies then it might not be great.
  • The Stun Damage Boost trait is a direct downgrade to Magic Stun Damage Boost and all the others. It’s not great, but it does something.
  • Her role is of a breaker but she has good aptitudes to be an above average damage dealer. In stages that penalize Attackers, she is perhaps one of the strongest choices, and even as a regular breaker her chip damage can be significant.
  • Be very careful of her passive M.Atk gains. She will permanently gain this stat after every action. This can easily make her surpass other targets without you noticing it, redirecting the effects from important items like Drachen Elixirs on top of herself.
  • Boost to negative effects are her primary offensive tools, attainable only via gear effects. Unlike most other breakers, she prefers using trait slots to boost her stun damage instead.
  • She always needs at least turn to light up her skill charges before transforming. Using Skill 2 on turn 1 on top of her passive, she can always transform on her second turn.
  • Her negative effect immunity lasts for 1 turn, not 1 attack. This makes her completely immune to everything thrown her way until her next action, including panels she activates, and if only using this skill she can become permanently immune.
  • The effect on her transformed Burst Skill is absurdly strong. A 100% damage taken debuff, only affected by boosts to negative effects and not by any trait. While this skill is single-target only and will only damage one target, the debuff will be applied to all targets, even those she doesn’t hit. This can be a very powerful tool as it can stack multiple times on enemies and work well with many other similar debuffers.
  • She is not immune to counterattacks will not transformed, so be careful with that too.
  • She synergizes well with characters like Sophie: Pure Angel. With her Skill 2, she can enable Valeria to turn enemies that are even highly resistant to Fire into weak. She can even make her Burst apply weakness, letting her force break enemies she normally couldn’t, which has notable applications in certain stages of off-affinity towers.
  • Speaking of Sophie, Valeria’s Leader Skill will provide Initiative to all versions of her, and also allies like Saskia: Master of Alchemy and Marie: Fortune Full Bloom.
